Airness

Get ready to rock! Prepare to be blown away by the electrifying production of "Airness," presented by Coalescence Theatre in conjunction with the Historic Normal Theater. "Airness" a sensational play by renowned playwright Chelsea Marcantel.

The play, directed by Don Shandrow, is a celebration of the power of music and found family. Tickets will be available soon on Normal Theater’s website and will run November 3rd, 4th and 5th at 7:30 PM with Matinees at 2:30 PM on November 4th and 5th.

The cast of talented actors includes Jessica Knell, Ben Hackett, Gregory Hicks, Noe’ Cornejo Herrara, Hassan Holcomb, and Chynna Miller. 

Tabitha Miller will stage manage assisted by Edwin Sanson. Yaz Hamilton will act as assistant director with costumes designed by Opal Virtue, and projection design by Chris Terven.

 “Airness" follows the story of Nina, a young woman who enters the world of competitive air guitar. As she immerses herself in this surreal world, Nina discovers not only the exhilarating freedom of losing oneself in the music but also the transformative power it holds for individuals and the community of charismatic nerds who become her family.
