Based on the novel "My Love, My Love" by Rosa Guy, "Once on This Island" first graced the Broadway stage in 1990 and instantly became a sensation, winning critical acclaim and numerous prestigious awards. Now, this reimagined version of the Tony Award-winning musical is set to captivate hearts once again with its soul-stirring melodies, choreography, and powerful storytelling.h

"Once on This Island" tells the compelling story of Ti Moune, a fearless young girl who embarks on a remarkable journey to prove that love can transcend social boundaries and conquer all. Set on a Caribbean island divided by social prejudice, the musical intertwines the themes of love, sacrifice, and the resilience of the human spirit. With a captivating score blending Caribbean rhythms and contemporary pop music, the show offers a unique and uplifting experience for theatergoers of all ages.

Under the direction of Elaine McCoy Hill, with her assistant director Gina Cleveland, the talented cast of "Once on This Island" brings the vibrant characters and the island's rich culture to life. Audiences will be transfixed by the breathtaking work of  music director Deonte' Mosely, assistant music director, Lorraine Loving. Presented with a set designed by Karla Baily Smith, and costumes by Ashleigh Fager with Avery Schoen, created to evoke the magic and color of this Caribbean world come alive.
